Born from two parents, a packed lunch, and a lot of queuing.
It started simply enough: Sarah and Tom — two London-based parents with two young kids — spent the summer of 2019 visiting every theme park within reach of the capital. They came armed with reusable water bottles, enthusiastic children, and a growing frustration with the theme park guides they found online.
Most reviews were either years out of date, suspiciously positive (hello, sponsored content), or written by people who clearly hadn't wrestled a four-year-old into a safety harness at 9am. What families actually needed — what Sarah and Tom needed — was an honest account: which parks are worth the drive, where the queues are worst, which restaurants are genuinely edible, and whether that "child-friendly" coaster will traumatise your six-year-old for life.
